That depends: Is it a manual?

If so, definitely. Not sure about stopping or whether the suspension would handle the tongue weight, but I'm sure it could pull it.

Yeah, it’s a manual.

Tongue weight no problem. I mean this thing came from the factory rated at 8,300 towing capacity so I think it would handle it just fine. I mean Mazda had this in mind when they were designing the car. People really I estimate the Miata in terms of pulling power
